The remaining days of our stay included mass amounts of rest and relaxation. It was a much needed break from work and regular life. We saw some cool places around San Francisco and Oakland and ate some good foods in parks and good restaurants.
Also, it was great to catch up with our old friend Ryan, pictured here below with Jessica.
He showed us the sights and sounds that we’d have never found on our own and kept us fed and laughing. Also, we met our new California family Cati, Charles, Laz and old friends Pancho and Cricket.
There’s more pictures out there if you’re handy with Instagram. Or we could do it the old fashioned way and talk about it next time we see each other. Back to work for now, more things coming this week. Stay tuned!
Remember, pledge your allegiance to the flag, but be leery of it’s powers.
Get ready for some fun in the sun coming up with and event at Yellow Jacket Social Club. Should be a hooting, good time, so don’t miss out.
I’m not saying that I’m gonna stop anytime soon, but man, it gets harder every year. Keeping up with these young buck party monsters is tough business, but I’ve got lots of training, just lots of laziness, too.
Two days of enjoying the Texas weather and some SXSW action.
Started off the day in a backyard of buddies where there was a sighting of the new Bearded Lady brand. We drank a couple pre-game beers, then hopped on the bikes and off we went into the madness.
Checked out Kadavar from Germany. Rad 70’s metal literally transported to 2013.
Then, went and checked out Thurston Moore’s project Chelsea Light Moving.
Ended the day with the lovely sounds of Vegetable Kingdom at a house party.
Then, back to the bar to hang out with these dudes.
All in all, it was a bunch of fun and exciting to see our city overrun by the media and corporate sponsorships. I’m just ready to get back to sleepy town Austin and have some BBQ’s and hangouts.
Went out to City Park to watch Jesse compete in a trials competition this past weekend. Was fun to get out in the woods early on a Saturday and hike around with some friends. Would have been more fun if we were on bikes, too.

I definitely recommend getting out on your bicycle for the last weekend of EAST coming up. It’s pretty nice to be able to ride a small amount and see such a vast range of artwork. Here is a little recap of what I saw:
I’ll be hitting it up again this coming weekend in hopes of seeing a bit more. Hope to see you out. Let me know if you want to ride around, I’ll be looking for some partners.
I also got the chance to check out the Misprint magazine at their launch party. It was a bunch of fun. Here is the ad that Yellow Jacket ran and I designed and produced and helped concept. Turned out real nice.
And my contribution to the changing face of Misprint. Good luck with the Misfits cover band ya’ll.
Shooting skeet with some buds.
We’re really getting pumped up about our show at the end of the month. If you can make it, please come and check out what we’ve been working on. I think you’ll really like it. Click here to visit Crummy House and get some more details.
