I’ve been doing a bunch of different things these days which I enjoy. Here are a few signs I did for my buddy James’ bar, Holy Mountain, that just opened up. The grand opening is tonight. Come check it out!
I’m pleased to announce the release of my first zine in over a year:
Seasons Have Reasons by Mason McFee
16-page, black and white zine with fold out mini-poster, all about these things we cannot control.
Edition of 10
Some sneak peeks:
Getting ready to make something cool out of these wooden pieces I’m making and collecting from friends around town. Should make for a pretty interesting zine over at Crummy House. Make sure to stay tuned and check back to see the others in progress.
Last year, I had the opportunity to work with an old friend on a logo he needed for his guitars. Aaron Huff is a long time friend of mine- hell the dude helped me learn to play the guitar when I was a youngster. I got a chance to visit his studio and see some of his work this past weekend. Here are some shots of the logo and his studio.
Finished off these little dudes just in time for a couple holiday gifts.
Happy Holiday season. I did a little brainstorming and made this to be sent to the Share Your Beauty exhibition put together by the folks behind You Are Beautiful. I thought it was an appropriate post for the holidays. I’m thankful for everyone out there that happens to come across this message. Thank you, carry on and be safe out there.
In the middle of a few things with work and projects right now. Starting to plan out the fall and get ready for some real studio time once the weather breaks from 100 degree weather and finish off some cool things that I’ll announce in the next couple weeks.
I’m trying to think of some new sculpture pieces to build that are simple and easy to make surfaces. Here is a model I made from a post it note of one of those ideas.
Some new drawings over at the site. Go check em out.
