This is where the normals live.

Labor of love

Finally got to have a small break from the day to day. Had a keg in the backyard one day and went to the lake with friends the other two. Pretty good all around trip. Got back to hear some bad news that pops was in the hospital with a pain in the gut. Fingers crossed for a quick recovery.

Like a flower or a star

I knew there would be good on the horizon. I’m setting up a show at 1080 this weekend with some super new, super fresh stuff I’ve been working on. Bearded Lady and I collaborated on some prints that will be shown in this exhibition and for sale after the show (assuming someone doesn’t buy all of em)!

I hope everyone is in the right spot and right place these days.

Captured

I’d go to this video premiere if I could. Looks like it’s gonna be a good film.

“Since 1979 Clayton Patterson has dedicated his life to documenting the final era of raw creativity and lawlessness in New York City’s Lower East Side, a neighborhood famed for art, music and revolutionary minds. Traversing the outside edge he’s recorded a dark and colorful society, from drag to hardcore, heroin, homelessness, political chaos and ultimately gentrification. His odyssey from voyeur to provocateur reveals that it can take losing everything you love to find your own significance.”
