The sun roasted us as we roasted some meat and drank some beers. It was hot enough to make me think later that night that someone at the bar was going to take my skin and make a suit out of it. Whoa, glad I got that out of my system. Good to see all the friendly faces though. The bottom right image is a studio David built. Check out more here.

Been busy as hell, but finally got Adobe installed on my new computer. Working on a couple things, but nothing that is going to put me over the edge. Finalizing all things 4OUR at The Screamer Company and will post a reminder about the event later in the month. Hope you’re doing well, too. It’s hot out there, drink a lot of water.

Madrid, New Mexico:

This is a very brief run-down of the art we saw in New Mexico. There was a bunch of great, overpriced artwork there and a bunch of really affordable, decent art. Madrid was definitely the best. A super small town with lots of vendors and people relaxing in the summer sun. A couple hippies, too.

So much to do, so little time. Be patient, be busy, be good.

Driving / Relaxing: Jess and I were road warriors this past weekend and Fourth of July holiday. We drove to Santa Fe, New Mexico and back in four days. We’re very glad to be back, but it was amazing. Santa Fe art post coming in the next couple days once I recover from the fun-ness.

Been on a bit of artish-break lately. Just been a little burnt out on making stuff and have been allowing my brain to relax. Sometimes, I find that this helps me to make new ideas. Here is a picture of a piece I have been working on over the last two weeks or so, in between crap TV and playing with the cats after work.

Super busy with everything these days. I hope you understand I’m not neglecting you. Good things coming in the next couple months including a much needed vacate to New Mexico. Also, I hope everyone is working on their entries to FOUR. We’ve gotten a few in already, but we need MORE!!! This year will be a good one to submit. We are going to try and fit as much as possible into this book, so your chances of getting published and being a part are much better.

Went to Boerne for Father’s Day, high school ten-year reunion and Berges Fest, the local German festival. We had a great time, now I’m doing some doodling and resting for another week. Ahhh, lazy Sunday.
